Biography
Since 1982 I have practiced law.
After 30 years as a public defender, I am in private practice in my own law firm
My area is criminal law.
My experience is extensive.
My commitment to quality representation is constant.
During my years as a public defender, I was proud to represent hundreds of people who faced criminal charges, from misdemeanors up to first degree murder.
My focus has always been on trial practice. I have tried in excess of 155 criminal jury trials, including more than 55 homicide cases.
These homicides ranged from DUI manslaughter up to first degree murder where the death penalty was being sought.
Regardless of the level of criminal offense charged, I pursue each case as an aggressive advocate who fights for the best outcome for each and every client.
Most recently I joined a law practice that handles primarily family law and adoptions. The family law area is of special interest to me. I look forward to handling these cases.
