I was charged with aggravated assualt. The offer was three years in prison before I hired David. It took almost a year, but the charge was dropped to a misdemeanor for six months of probation. Some lawyers would have given up and recommended whatever deal the State was offering. Twice I was ready to plead to a felony (by that time the offer was down to six months jail and 2 years of probation) but David thought there was still work to be done. He was paid a flat fee , but he just kept going until he reached what he thought was the best possible result.
To put it simply, I trust him. He had my freedom in his hands and he acted like it was his own freedom that was at stake.
Ask around. Ask other lawyers, police officers, probation officers (he was recommended to me by a family lawyer, my neighbor who is a probation officer and two friends of my brother who are cops) they will all tell you he is at the top of their list.
I had a possession case and a DUI case. Mr. Kaylor got the drug evidence thrown out. That charge got dropped. The DUI he got reduced down to a reckless for probation.
David Kaylor was born and raised in Polk County, Florida. He graduated from Winter Haven High School, University of Florida and University of Miami School of Law. After law school he worked at the State Attorney's Office in Bartow where he prosecuted thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases. David has tried over 60 jury trials and is known as an experienced litigator in Polk County.Â

Very professional lawyer
David Kaylor helped out my brother who was charged with DUI. When we hired Mr. Kaylor we thought we were probably just wasting our money because the case appeared to be so strong and the State was offering him 180 days jail.
After filing a motion to suppress Mr. Kaylor not only got the state to drop the jail time he also got them to reduce the charge to reckless driving with alcohol.
If you are charged with DUI you want David Kaylor as your lawyer.

Best in town
Unfortunately I've been introble on a few occasions and have used several lawyers. David is best. He was polite, professional and knew what he was doing.
He returned my phonecalls (I would never hear from some other attorneys until I was late on a payment) and made himself available for appointments. I even had to meet with him around 7:00 p.m. twice and he had no problem with it.
I got a great result and you can see how the judges and prosecutors respect him. His family has been practicing law in Polk County forever and he knows everybody.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.
