Incompetent attorney who lacks the skills to argue a case and motivation to win. While the apposing counsel spent over 5 hours with my ex-wife she spent 30 minutes with me on a motion to return child. Rather than arguing the case she said she couldn’t because of the severity of the accusations I was ...making. Really? That is why I’m making them and that’s why the motion was filed! When I countered her response with additional facts she said “I didn’t know that.” Oh, well it’s your job to know, ask and prepare and work to prove the case! She also said, “oh, this judge usually sides with the women.” Really? Then even more reason to prepare and probably call out the judge on that. In this day and age men have the same rights as woman to their children. The apposing attorney stole the show. The apposing counsel spent over 45 minutes speaking of the allotted time while my attorney could barely muster 1 meaningful question. She was clearly unprepared. Didn’t object to anything and basically allowed the apposing attorney to give my wife’s testimony for her. In fact my ex-wife told me she felt sorry for me watching the attorney perform so poorly. My ex-wife said that her attorney said that my attorney didn’t put up a fight. Maybe my circumstances would have resulted in the same outcome but there are two ways to lose a race, you can prepare thoroughly and come in second or be the fat slob walking at the end. She was the “fat slob,” speaking metaphorically of course. I feel deceived because she appeared confident and competent in our initial consultation. The Fulmer & Fulmer banner gave me some confidence that Christal would represent me well but it’s all smoke and mirrors. Now I lose my remaining retainer and have to hire a new attorney.
