Biography
Mr. Reed received his undergraduate degree in English (minors in history and philosophy) from Northern Illinois University (DeKalb) and his juris doctor from The John Marshall Law School (Chicago). Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Reed worked as a bookkeeper for Rudnick & Wolfe (now DLA Piper Rudnick), a law clerk for LR Development (now Related Midwest Development) and an extern for the finance and economic development division of the CIty of Chicago's law department. Mr. Reed moved to Lakeland, Florida in 2005, and joined Robert G. Fegers, P.L. (Winter Haven), where he represented individuals, businesses and local government agencies in a variety of matters. In 2007, he started Law Office of Andrew M. Reed in Lakeland, and in 2011 was joined by Joseph Mawhinney to form Reed & Mawhinney, P.L. He is married to Anna and has two kids, Evan and Emma.
