Richard Alan Miller

Rick's 36 years of experience include a Florida Bar Board Certification in Real Estate* in 1989. He still laughs to remember, "At that time I was one of the youngest attorneys to have achieved that level!"

Although well practiced in all areas of Florida law, real estate, wills and estates remain his professional passion. Rick is a member of the President's Circle of Attorneys Title Insurance Fund and has ranked in the top 25 of all Florida real estate firms for title insurance production in the state of Florida for the Fund the past 8 years. He continues to serve on the Advisory Committee of Attorneys Title Insurance Fund.

Rick has served on the Florida Bar's Real Estate Certification Committee for nine years and was Chairperson of the Committee in 2003. This committee of real estate experts is charged with ensuring the excellence of Florida's real estate attorneys. Together they certify applicants for eligibility to sit for the Real Estate Certification exam, draft the exam questions and administer and grade each one.

Rick has also served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for three years and was elected Chairperson of that Committee for the final year of service. He continues to serve on the state bar's Title Insurance Committee for Real Property, Probate and Trust Law.

At heart, Rick is a family guy with one wife, four kids and an incredible grandson. He loves fishing, hunting and the Florida Gators and can be counted on to recount stats, recruits and scores for pretty much any Gator sport. He serves on the board of First United Methodist Church, and recommends its Children's Clothes Closet to anyone looking for a non-profit to support that really makes a difference in the community. 

Rick and the firm Miller Law are rated "av" by Martindale Hubbell, the highest ranking attainable by attorneys and a ranking held by only a small percentage of attorneys and firms.
