Helping people is what I enjoy most about being a lawyer. I began practicing law after earning a Juris Doctorate, with honors, from Stetson University College of Law in 1994. I received my bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida. I am a native of Long Island, New York.

I am the firm's trial attorney. I represent clients who have been injured, and the families of those who have been killed, due to the fault of another. I have had the privilege of representing thousands of clients throughout Florida since 1994. I never represent insurance companies.

Excellent customer service

An Informative and Candid Consultation!

Paul Cavonis was suggested to me by another attorney as I needed a specialist in civil litigation. I was able to schedule a brief telephone consultation with Mr. Cavonis and found him to be very knowledgeable in the application of relevant civil law that would pertain to my issue. He was straightforward and candid as he shared both his opinion and his knowledge based upon his legal experience. While the facts of my case do not merit the hiring of counsel at this point, if I were to require legal assistance in the future I would certainly look to Paul Cavonis.

Peace of Mind

After being rear-ended, the officer at the scene recommended I settle it privately with the at-fault driver since it was not a major accident. However, I was a little shaken up so I reached out to Paul Cavonis and he said to get a crash report even though it was not a major accident. He said I would need it for my insurance company in case things went south with the other party. I truly appreciated his guidance which gave me peace of mind. He also reviewed my car insurance policy to ensure I would have ample coverage in the event I was involved in a future accident. I highly recommend Paul Cavonis and his team for their knowledge, friendliness and responsiveness.

Company installed and damaged their pavers/coping. Refusing to repair.

Mr. Cavonis advised me on the best avenue to approach this problem of refusal even though the pool company admitted their responsibility. He gave me excellent and specific information and informed me of avenues that I had not considered. He was courteous, knowledgeable and gave actionable advice. I would highly recommend him for his expertise and his law firm for any legal needs.
