Biography
I am a licensed patent attorney with a mechanical engineering degree and have a practice focused exclusively on intellectual property including patents and litigation. I have a diverse experience across many fields of technology including oil and gas, software, consumer goods, industrial equipment, medical devices, firearms, electronics, and life sciences.
My practice also includes Inter Parte Reviews, Covered Business Method Reviews, Reexaminations, and Appeals before the US Patent and Trademark Office and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Before becoming a licensed patent attorney, in 2002 I was registered as a patent agent and have over 13 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications.
Having started and operated several businesses, one of which that was based upon technology that I developed, I am able to view issues from both the legal counsel's perspective and from the perspective of an inventor and business owner.
