I've handled all types of business and contract litigation in Clearwater since 1983, including construction liens and defects. non-compete and trade secret claims, homeowner association disputes, fraud cases, landlord/tenant matters, and shareholder/LLC member disputes.
Serving on the Florida Supreme Court's Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Business and Contract Cases to write new, never-previously-adopted instructions for use in Florida has been a wonderful assignment. I have had the opportunity to sit with some of the best lawyers and judges from around the state and analyze and crystallize the law into a set of instructions, in the process discovering nuances in the law that are often ovelooked.
When I'm not working on cases, I enjoy fishing with my son and watching him play club and high school soccer. My wife (formerly an elementary school teacher and now a tutor) and I recently had the opportunity to visit our daughter studying in Germany, and we can't wait to go back!
In addition to serving on the neighborhood homeowners' association and assistant coaching for my son's club soccer team, I am actively involved in my church, playing trumpet and french horn in the church band.
