Daneil Marie McAuliffe

Daneil McAuliffe, LHCRM, BSN, JD, received her BSN with High Honors from the University of Florida and worked as a critical care nurse for ten years.  She is a licensed health care risk manager and has worked as a risk manager of a large hospital in Florida.  She received her JD from Stetson University’s College of Law in 1991 and has concentrated her legal career on the legal aspects of health care administration, licensure defense, medical malpractice, and product liability.  Her education, training, and experience as a critical care nurse, hospital risk manager, and medical malpractice attorney provide insight in the evaluation, preparation, and presentation of cases involving hospitals, physicians, nurses, other health care providers, and their insurers.  She has numerous publications and presentations regarding nursing liability, medical malpractice, and health law issues.  In addition, she teaches as an adjunct professor of graduate studies regarding health care administration.
