After medical school and 5 years of surgery residency, I became the Emergency and Trauma Surgeon for the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. I then was in private practice for 7 years as a surgeon before attending Harvard Law School. After graduating, I worked for a small law firm for 5 years and opened my own firm in January 2008. I still cover trauma and emergency surgery shifts as a locum tenens surgeon.
