"To say that Ms. Wert is an outstanding attorney is an understatement. I first met Ms. Wert while we both practiced as Assistant Public Defenders at the PD's office in Pinellas County before going out to private practice. During that time I was always impressed by Ms. Wert's hardworking ethic, dedication to her clients, and legal talent. Alexis always strives towards the mission of any criminal defense attorney worth his/her salt, protect and defend the rights of clients. Recently, when I undertook to represent an individual charged with 2nd Degree Murder, I called Alexis to see if she would consider becoming co-counsel on the case. I could not have had better co-counsel. Ms. Wert is an amazing litigator and I was not at all surprised to find that her contribution to the case and trial was invaluable, her efforts contributed to the Not Guilty verdict returned by the Jury. Without hesitation, I endorse Ms. Wert."
