I would definitely recommend Steven Hair to anyone. He is awesome!!! He was recommended to me by a very good attorney friend of mine after I had a falling out with my 1st divorce attorney who was arrogant and would barely listen to me or hardly communicate with me about what was going on. Unfortuna...tely my divorce was high conflict with regard to the time share schedule of our 2 young children. There was an attempt by my former spouse to relocate the kids to another state. She was very vindictive and was constantly trying to minimize the amount of time me and the kids were together. I was so stressed out and anxious. I couldn’t sleep and the kids were unhappy. After interviewing several other attorneys I decided to work with Steve. First he helped me through an emergent mediation to secure a temporary time share agreement which I was quite pleased with the outcome. My divorce was truly the most difficult time of my life. My former spouse would push my buttons every chance she got. She was so unreasonable throughout the entire process, would fabricate lies, threaten me, etc. I’m so thankful I had Steve to get me through it. Steve taught me a lot of skills for dealing with her. Skills I still use today. As much as I wanted to lash back at her sometimes, Steve kept me calm. He was a voice of reason. He would always tell me, “do not respond to her craziness in kind” (some of the best advice he ever gave me). Steve worked with me a lot to formulate a strategy. He listened to my concerns and worries. He definitely does care and would always ask how the kids were doing. He communicated with me on a regular basis and would get back to me within a reasonable amount of time whenever I needed advice. He is clearly an expert at what he does. His knowledge base and experience is vast. Although he is soft spoken he is definitely a tiger. He skillfully uncovered and debunked so many of my former spouses lies during depositions. I was definitely happy I was sitting on the same side of the table as Steve. One month before we almost went to trial we had a final mediation that went until 4:30 in the morning but we came to an agreement and it was finally over. Even lacking sleep I swear Steve still thought of everything. It has been just over a year since we finalized and I am very happy with the outcome thanks to him. Ultimately he helped me secure equal time share and the kids are still here in Florida and it is all working out great. The kids are happy and doing really well. He always told me my co-parenting relationship with my former spouse would improve in time and he was right about that too. Win Win for the kids! Thank you Steve!!!!
