I was involved in a case where I had zero transcripts from my trial and my family attorney failed to submit anything into evidence during trial; therefore, leaving me virtually no chance on a successful appeal. In the end she got the original trial judge to amend the Final Judgment fixing the issue herself and avoiding the District Court of Appeal. Ever heard that saying, "can't get blood from a turnip"?
