Born on February 26, 1970, in Harvey, Illinois, Carolyn L. Secor graduated from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. She moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1993 to attend the University of South Florida and later graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 2000, gaining admission to the Florida Bar. Ms. Secor has dedicated her legal career to Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, and Landlord/Tenant law, and she also holds an M.B.A. from Stetson. In January 2005, she and her husband, a Combat Controller in the U.S. Air Force, relocated to Okinawa, Japan, where she began teaching for UMUC-Asia. Today, Ms. Secor continues to practice bankruptcy law, emphasizing mortgage loan assistance and debt settlement.
