I paid this gentleman $1500 on a violation of probation case that should have been open and shut. I only hired him because I was in county jail and wanted to go in front of the judge in a timely manner and he promised to do that. In TWO MONTHS he was not only unable to get me a court date other t...han the one that was assigned anyway, he claimed that he was unable to have a conversation with the district attorney prior to my court date. Please understand......this is simply UNHEARD of!!! He only came to see me ONCE in two months in the jail to talk about my case, even though my family begged him to come and see me several days prior to my going before the judge as I had many questions about a plea (because he had done NO Bargaining with the DA). I had a court date in another county that he knew about, and I waited to be moved there but never was. My bail in that county ended up being revoked resulting in my losing $500 and my being charged with a warrent for not appearing in court. What did he do? Nothing, because he wasn't representing me on those charges. He couldn't even make sure the county I was in SENT me there. Just another $500 gone, what the hey, right? Oh, but what if I OWED him that $500???? This was my first ever violation of probation and ended up with almost a YEAR in jail because I failed a urine test, and my probation wasn't even drug related! My money was simply thrown away, this attorney did absolutely nothing at all. He in no way shape or form tried to help me. All he did was ACT like he did something to help in front of my family. Guys like this need to lose their license. I tell everyone I know about this guy. Word of mouth man, it's the best form of advertising there is. Or the worst.
