Attorney Rob Healy was born in St. Petersburg and is a lifelong resident of Pinellas County. After High School, Rob went to the University of Florida where he graduated with honors in 3½ years with a degree in Business Administration. He then went on to law school at the University of Florida. After three years, Rob was honored to be an Order of the Coif graduate from the College of Law signifying that he was in the top 10% of his graduating class.
Following law school, Rob went to work obtaining a broad range of trial skills. He first worked for a well-known criminal defense lawyer in Pinellas County, helping prepare and try a number of criminal cases. He then went to work for one of the largest insurance defense firms in the State of Florida, representing most large insurance companies and some of the largest corporations in the world on a variety of matters including auto, motorcycle and truck accidents, premises cases, medical malpractice and nursing home cases. Before joining Brad Salter as a partner in the firm, Rob went to practice for a well known plaintiff personal injury law firm in Hillsborough County. This proved to be an invaluable experience litigating extensively all types of plaintiff’s personal injury claims.
In 2005, because of his extensive trial experience, Rob was eligible for board certification as a civil trial lawyer. After completing the application, the Florida Bar surveyed the attorneys and judges before whom he had practiced and determined that his ability was such that he was qualified to take the board certification exam. Rob passed all portions of the board certification exam on the first try and was certified as a specialist in civil trial law at the first year that he was eligible to do so. This made him one of the youngest lawyers to have ever been board certified in the State of Florida.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"Rob is a fantastic trial lawyer. Some attorneys call themselves trial lawyers but don't have the guts or the skill to take the insurance companies to trial when they refuse to pay fair compensation. Rob has a track record of holding insurance companies accountable when they refuse to be fair and the results show for his clients!"
