Vincent Joseph Mueller

V. Joseph Mueller, admitted to the Florida bar 1989; United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, 1991.

After the completion of his J.D. at Cumberland School of Law, Mr. Mueller was employed as an Assistant State Attorney in the State Attorney's Office of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida. 

 Mr. Mueller has been with the Firm since 1992 and became a Partner in 1996.  He represents employers and insurance companies in the areas of civil defense litigation and employment law and maintains the highest rating of "AV" with the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.   Mr. Mueller advises and represents employers and governmental entities in all forms of employment discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, unemployment compensation, non-compete agreements, whistle blower claims and sexual harassment cases as well as matters involving the Americans with Disabilities Act and regularly helps clients draft and revise their employee manuals, employment contracts, restrictive covenants, compensation plans, and other employment related documents.

Mr. Mueller also handles civil defense litigation cases involving motor vehicle liability, trucking defense, wrongful death and uninsured mototrist claims and was recognized as one of "Tampa Bay's Top Lawyers" by Tampa Bay Magazine . He has served as a guest lecturer in the Paralegal Studies program at St. Petersburg College and for the Suncoast Human Resource Management Association (SHRMA) 

Mr. Mueller regularly conducts seminars throughout Florida on a variety of topics for employers and carriers.

Mr. Mueller is a member of the Florida Bar (Labor, Employment Law and Trial Lawyers Sections); St. Petersburg Bar Association (Employment Law and Trial Practice Sections); Pinellas County Trial Lawyers Association (President 1996); American Bar Association (Labor & Employment Law Section and Tort & Insurance Practice Section); Defense Research Institute (Employment and Labor Law Committee and Trucking Law Committee) and the Florida Trucking Association.

Mr. Mueller is a member of the St. Petersburg West Rotary Club (President 2010-2011).
