I had two very old outstanding warrants in Pinellas County that I was unaware of that were nearly 20 years old. One was a misdemeanor which was a worthless check (about $90), and the other was a felony which was obtaining property with false identity (or something like that..basically identity theft).... I had no idea these warrants had been issued until I attempted to obtain my passport about a year ago. I left Florida back in '04 and had no idea I had 2 outstanding warrants.
