Patrick Douglas Brannon

The son of a successful lawyer, Patrick Douglas grew up seeing the difference a good attorney can make in a client’s life. Although he flirted with the idea of going into medicine, Patrick eventually decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue a legal career.

After completing his bachelor’s degree in business at the University of Florida, Patrick earned his Juris Doctor at “Florida’s First Law School,” Stetson University College of Law. He joined Winters & Yonker as the first attorney hired into the firm and has spent the last thirteen years fighting for Florida citizens.

Patrick is passionate about standing up for people without a voice and taking on the insurance companies that try to take advantage of them. In order to become a better lawyer, Patrick is pursuing board certification through the National Board of Trial Advocacy. This organization holds its members to the highest professional standards, and board-certified lawyers have to show their skills, expertise, and dedication to their practice area.

Patrick also enjoys passing his knowledge on to those who are just joining the legal profession. He often acts as a mentor for Winters & Yonker’s associate attorneys, showing them all the best techniques to get justice for their clients. Patrick loves guiding these lawyers who will shape the future of the profession.

Although he works on all personal injury cases, Patrick specializes in car accidents, slip-and-fall injuries, and work injuries. He also works on premises liability cases. Patrick is a member of the Florida Bar Association and of Pi Kappa Alpha, an international fraternity he joined during his time at the University of Florida.
