Biography
Mr. Skorewicz represents community associations on a daily basis, assisting condominium associations, homeowners associations and co-operatives. Keith has significant experience with document and rule amendments, covenant enforcement, and collections matters. Mr. Skorewicz regularly handles all aspects of appeals and, prior to joining Bush Ross, was a clerk for Judge Chris W. Altenernd of the Second District Court of Appeal.
Mr. Skorewicz has also successfully handled matters on behalf secured creditors and lessors including obtaining replevin of and negotiating the return of aircraft, flight simulators, construction and agriculture equipment, antique coins and artifacts, and rare motor vehicles. Mr. Skorewicz represented the Kingdom of Spain during five years of litigation successfully obtaining the return of coins and artifacts to Spain. Mr. Skorewicz prevailed in arbitration representing a large national lender regarding a complex secured transaction while avoiding multimillion dollar lender liability claims.
Mr. Skorewicz also represents landlords and commercial real estate owners. Mr. Skorewicz has successfully argued in the Second District Court of Appeal for reversal of a judgment that remains a seminal case for property managers and community associations.
