My son was charged with Domestic Violence by Strangulation and Aggravated Assault in Manatee County. We were getting no where with his defense. Ok so I can’t begin to explain what a godsend this woman was to me. I had a violation of probation warrant that loomed in the background of my life for 8 months. Probation was for some old petit theft charge but I also had gained myself another charge of DWLS just before the probation warrant was put... out. So I was in an absolute mess. I was looking like Jose Baez himself wouldn’t be able to get me to walk free and clear of this without jail time. I mean off the rip I already had a no bond warrant so it was looking tough. I’m not kidding when I say I walked into an attorneys office in SW Florida and explained my story and he told me even if I had a million dollars on the table he wouldn’t be able to get me out of this without jail time and literally told me to “take my lics and get it done and over with”. I also understand that can’t be true for all cases BUT the bottom line is this chick is the real deal and she seemed to have more heart and tenacity than any of the male attorney’s I spoke to so take that how you may. She got us in front of the judge and the DA still wanted jail time but she spoke up. She fought for me and she prevailed. I know this.
