Formal Complaint Against Janet D. Howard To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the conduct and professionalism of attorney Janet D. Howard. On 04/16/2026, I contacted Ms. Howard’s office in an effort to obtain general information concerning a legal matter in...volving my loved one, Tyrone James Graham. During this call, Ms. Howard answered the phone and immediately responded in an extremely rude, dismissive, and hostile manner. Without allowing any meaningful communication, Ms. Howard stated that she does not speak to any family members, including wives or girlfriends, and instructed me not to call her phone again. The tone of this interaction was abrupt, unprofessional, and unnecessarily disrespectful. While I fully understand that attorneys are bound by confidentiality rules and may be limited in what information they can disclose, this does not justify hostile or discourteous behavior. Professionalism, respect, and basic courtesy should be maintained at all times—especially when dealing with individuals seeking information about a loved one’s legal situation. Furthermore, this interaction raises serious concerns about Ms. Howard’s ability to effectively and appropriately handle her client’s case. The level of hostility and lack of respect demonstrated during this communication suggests a concerning lack of professionalism that may impact her judgment, communication, and overall representation. It is my belief that Ms. Howard’s conduct falls below the standards expected of members of the legal profession. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and addressed accordingly. This lady is rude, and isn’t honest! She took 1,000 from me and literally said she never recieved it. It took for the police to get involved to confirm she actually got the payment. And told us the only way she will send it back is if we falsify with good reviews.
