I hired Mr. Steven Glaros in May 2017 to represent me at a Family Law court appearance. The DOR has made a number of recording errors including billing for support of my youngest child who turned 18 and graduated High School three and a half years ago. During this process, we agreed to recalculate ...arrears and submit it to the courts which would have ended the complaint. That never got done. For months, I sent dozens of emails and made numerous phone calls to Mr. Glaros and never got a returned call from him. He once boasted that he had over 300 Personal Injury clients. Typically, his paralegal would call or respond to an email and let me know she would pass on my request. At one point, I couldn’t even get a response from the paralegal and later found out she took a month off to study for the Bar while my case was being neglected. Eventually, I was forced to file a complaint with the Florida Bar. This did seem to get his attention but only for a short while. This is February 2018 and I still have yet to see the recalculation of arrears. I have now reopened my complaint with the Florida Bar. Equally important, I want to share what you get if you hire this attorney. If time is of the essence and your case is important to you, don’t hire this attorney.
