Although we hired Mr. Woody in 2019, for a complicated assault charge. I neglected to write a review back then. He was late or a no show to all the hearings.He had car problems, and was constantly stuck in traffic. He set a flat rate, and continued to ask for more money for depositions that never ca...me to fruition. He contacted and returned calls to none of our witnesses. He finally got up and quit in open court. Even the judge asked, “Are you seriously going to do this?” After the depletion of our funds, we thankfully ended up with the most amazing public defender in the world. She did more in one week, than Mr. Woody had done during the whole year prep for trial. We got a favorable outcome with her representation. I would definitely not recommend Mr. Woody to represent anyone.

To be honest. I wouldn't even give this lawyer a rating at all. We hired Mr. Woody to defend us. Over the course of a year, going back and forth to court, Mr. Woody only consulted with us 2 times. He often time would make appointments with us be and not even show up. Not even a call to say he couldnt... make the appointment. On 2 different court dates he didnt come to court, saying he was having car trouble. Once the final date came for court we were senteced with an outrageous sentence that we didnt agree with. Mr. Woody didnt even put in for an appeal. NO GOOD!!!

great knowledge of then law jamaal woody keep me in my home he got the judge to see that my spouse at the time was the one on wrong side of the law .it is not common to see the so called aggressor stay in the home and the victim out . that says a lot from this young and knowledgeable of the law he kn...ows his craft, thanks Mr Woody
