Vera Brooks

My husband had two accidents in 3 years, not his fault, he was hit by others. Vera was involved with our 2nd accident. Vera was ready to dive in at the first meeting. There was no need to call her and push to get things done as you must with so many attorneys. Vera refers you to fantastic physician...s that look at your health, not just for funds. Vera took care of everything possible and helped us with any questions or tasks. Vera and her assistant were on the ball, calling US... not me waiting for contact from them. Vera is a tiger in the courtroom, even when I was downtown, I ran into people that work there, telling me how great she is. She is considerate and fair, a wonderful person to work with, (as is her staff) and brought us a fantastic settlement; much more than our previous situation, where we lost most funds to the attorney. If you have Vera in your corner, you are in the best hands! We used our 1st Attorney (not Vera) because of their commercials, our first Attorney was a BAD mistake. They did only what they had to, and we had to follow up with them ENDLESSLY, calls and messages galore trying to get status or answers. This was a severe injury and very little was taken care of. It took much longer with this Attorney than with Vera. We had to go into a deposition, which also came out of our funds, and ended up with less than a quarter promised. You will feel comfortable, and well represented in a situation that can bring on nightmares after an accident. I am a client, my family has used Vera a couple times and we are comfortable knowing that if we need further representation, Vera is here. I suggest strongly that you go and meet with Vera, you will find the difference right away when you meet her. A visit with be well worth your while.

After hiring Mrs. Brooks on a personal injury case, I was quickly disappointed with staff conduct and with how pressured things were to benefit the insurance claim. Treatment recommendations appeared to have an insurance claim dollar amount. I felt as if my well-being was not the genuine priority. Ul...timately I regret hiring this attorney and had to find another law office to takeover my case.
