Michelle M. Reyes focuses on providing high-quality representation with an emphasis on compassion for her client's personal circumstances. As a Tampa native and a first-generation of Puerto Rican descent, she always felt connected to the immigrant community. 

She practices collaborative family, wills, immigration and business law in Tampa and in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is a lawyer with international experience and an extensive background in global corporate regulatory compliance. While in New York, she represented immigrant children in family court and indigent clients in criminal defense proceedings. She has clerked for district judges in New York and in England. While in England, she also worked on family law cases involving various jurisdictions.

Ms. Reyes has written on legal topics relating to federal legislation such as ERISA and legislation impacting Puerto Rico's fiscal crisis such as PROMESA. While in law school, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) Journal and as the president of the International Law Society. She has been invited to speak at high schools and colleges composed of mainly immigrant students to discuss their rights under DACA and the U.S. Constitution.

She earned her J.D. at Hofstra Law in New York, with a Certificate in International Law, and her B.A. from the University of South Florida in Economics, with a Certificate in Latin American & Caribbean Studies.

She is a member of the Florida Bar and a licensed attorney in Florida and Puerto Rico in state and federal courts.
