Jorge E. Rivera Quiñones

Attorney Jorge Rivera was born in Puerto Rico and completed his Juris Doctor in the University of Puerto Rico. He moved to Tampa, Florida and dedicated himself to the legal field. But his experience with Immigration started many years before that, when he served as a Border Patrol Agent with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and as a Special Agent with ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement). This experience gave him the opportunity to see and understand the stories of hundreds of immigrants in search of their dreams. He discovered his true passion and made the decision to become an immigration lawyer. An active and decorated jiujitsu athlete, Jorge understands the discipline and drive it takes to succeed, as well as the sensibility to overcome challenges. To this day, he collects a binder of postcards, hand-written letters, and thank you notes of each individual and family whose lives have been changed and that are forever thankful for helping them achieve their immigration dreams. He is not only devoted to his wife and kids, he is a compassionate man who gives his heart and soul for his people, his immigrant community. To him it’s all about building life changing moments. Attorney Jorge Rivera speaks three languages, Spanish (being his native language), English, and basic Portuguese.
