I’m from Texas and found myself in an ugly divorce and child custody case by moving my wife and child to be 5 minutes away from her parents. They made it sound like it was gonna be a wonderful thing, but it was a setup and they did a pretty good job at putting me in a bind with the legal system. In...nocent of course! Aren’t we all, but seriously, the Florida laws are some BS and the judicial system is all about the money. They don’t care if you are innocent or guilty. I had bad experience with some police officers using overuse of force and violating my Civil Rights by taking advantage of escalating the situation while I was handcuffed on my belly. Anyway, I found Omar and he was patient, attentive to my needs except taking longer than I wanted to get a disposition. Lol! I’m the end, I was between a rock and hard place and Omar did a great job of “playing the game” and got me the best deal I was gonna get. Granted I was innocent and had a witness to what happened. It left me with know respect for the 5the Judicial Court, but lots of respect for Omar. In 49 years of being a Critical Care nurse with no criminal history, the DA was trying to throw the book at me. Omar took the book and threw it back and said, well I can’t say what he said. Just joking about that part, but he was very professional through the whole thing. I talk a lot and sometimes I was frustrated with not receiving responses in what I considered a reasonable time, but as a teacher of mine told me growing up, patience isn’t one your virtues. Thank Omar for being so kind through the whole process even when I lost my cool at one time. You handled it like the true professional you are and we worked through it and I am happy to get this behind me. I’m looking forward to having this expunged and having you do it.
