Mr. Berger practices in the areas of complex-mass tort litigation, including but not limited to real property transactions, eminent domain, foreclosure defense, and predatory lending. He is licensed in state of Florida, as well as the Federal Middle District of FL. Mr. Berger has participated in numerous trials and has been involved in complex litigation since 2006.
Prior to joining the firm, aside from his extensive property law background, Mr. Berger represented insurance companies specializing in insurance fraud investigations. In addition, he went on to represent the insured in multiple property claims against insurance companies, Florida motorists, and their treating physicians in Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims (and other numerous claims) against insurance companies.
Mr. Berger is a member of The Florida Bar. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of South Florida and received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in Miami, graduating Cum Laude from both institutions. While in law school, he participated in the Annual Chief Judge Conrad B Duberstein National Bankruptcy Memorial Moot Court Competition held at St. John’s University. Mr. Berger was also a member of the Moot court Honor Society and took on the role of Chief Brief Writer during several National Competitions.
Mr. Berger lives in South Tampa with his wife of 10 years and his three sons.
