Henry Gerome Gyden

I have dealt with several attorneys in both civil and criminal matters, and I can confidently say that Mr. Henry Gyden is by far the worst I have experienced. His representation showed serious deficiencies in negotiation, case strategy, and courtroom handling. Throughout the case, his decisions fa...iled to produce effective results. Mr. Gyden consistently failed to act or file on time. Deadlines were missed, and at one point the case was even closed by the court due to his failure to meet required timelines. As a result, my case took over a year longer than it should have. My case had already been defaulted, meaning the opposing party failed to appear, giving a HUGE advantage. Yet the case was still mishandled and pushed into a full jury trial, which I later found was not the best course of action and increased costs. Despite me paying the full trial retainer 6 MONTHS in advance, he asked me basic questions about the case during trial, in the conference room, which clearly reflected a lack of preparation. His performance in court did not meet expectations. I paid everything promptly, including expenses I questioned at the time. However, the final issue was when he added a significant cost without my authorization. That was the last straw and led me to terminate his services immediately. Looking back, I truly believe I should have fired him much earlier. I could have represented myself more effectively.
