I would not have wanted to enter into my proceedings without Eileen. Her knowledge and background in divorce law is exceptional. Her professionalism and direct ease in the court room is powerful, without her on my side I have no idea how I would have got through this. I highly recommend anyone going... through a divorce to get her on your side before the other side does, she is the best in the area.

Rather than compose something specifically for folks looking for an attorney on this site, I've posted below the message I sent Ms. Jacobs after my divorce concluded. Keeping me grounded rather than letting my emotions speak made me a pain, I know. It was somewhat necessary and I'm sure expected. But you handled it perfectly. I apologize for being a pain. I came to you in this process primarily because of your "sounds like you need a creative attorney" response to my question posted on Avvo. But that just opened the door. In our initial meeting, I sensed you'd be best for me in all aspects. Up to that point, the barristers with who I consulted were men, each of who essentially stated the law and did so with a bit of testosterone oozing out. Ms. Jacobs helped me with my uncontested divorce and parenting plan. After the divorce my ex-husband refused to pay for things he was ordered to pay for as part of the divorce/child support and to obtain various insurances for himself and our child. As a result of his contempt, I hired Ms. Jacobs a...gain to help me with the contempt of court and the change to the parenting plan. Ms. Jacobs is extremely detailed oriented and a seasoned professional. Throughout the entire process (both of them) she was responsive to my inquiries, offered great legal advice and overall just a pleasure to work with during a difficult time. I have worked in the criminal justice system for 20 years and know what a difference a good/professional/knowledgeable attorney can do to protect their client and obtain the best possible outcome. Ms. Jacobs did that for me in the family court system. When we went to the final hearing with the judge she was prepared, articulate and seemed to be able to anticipate the judges questions and concerns. Overall, she did a fantastic job and I highly recommend Ms. Jacobs.

For me to give a review of Mrs. Jacobs , is an honor in itself. I have used Mrs. Jacobs on several occasions and her work has been above and beyond. I will say that this is the best money ever spent on an attorney. Not only have I used her, my friends have trusted my judgement and used her and share... the same feelings as myself. I would recommend Eileen Jacobs for your legal matters. We contacted her and made an appointment for consultation when we were served a judgement from our credit union. Within the first few minutes, we knew that we could trust her to take care of our legal matters. She showed us that she is reliable ...and demonstrated a willingness to help. She went out of her way to contact the plantiff's attorney and was able to settle an agreement at no cost to us. We were so pleased with her service, and would recommend her to our family and friends.
