Elizabeth Ann Scarola

Elizabeth Scarola successfully guided our organization in incorporating and in filing for 501(c)3 status. She assessed our organization's purpose, objectives, assets, past practices, and options, then walked us through the paperwork to become incorporated. As clients we were both ill-informed and e...qually ill-interested in the nuances of the application for 501(c)3, but Scarola made the process painless. She streamlined clunky language in our extant Bylaws and proposed additional wording for the new working documents, which we adopted. Throughout the process she made it clear what was required and what language and structure were optional. Scarola held our organization's hand, keeping us informed of likely timelines and interim options. She always invited us to ask questions of her if we had any, which made us feel at ease during the application process. Scarola served our organization pro bono while she attended University of Notre Dame.
