Let's face it - no one wants to be in the position of needing to hire an attorney for a divorce. Collaborative or not, it is not something anyone really wants to do. The thought of searching to find the right attorney alone is daunting. If you've come across Carlos Ramirez, consider your search comp...lete. You just found the pot of gold. My first visit to his office, I was a wreck, but not for long. Carlos was very personable and made me feel very comfortable. He was liberal with his time for my initial consult. He listened carefully to my situation, asked questions and gave me his professional assessment. He didn't sugarcoat anything - on the contrary, he made sure I was well informed and educated about my options, his expectations and what was to come. He explained the pros and cons of each potential strategy and shared his professional recommendation based on his knowledge and experience. Once I was able to identify my goals and which path I wanted to take, I was able to pass the reigns to him. His team, Teresa and Maria – if Carlos is the pot of gold, Teresa and Maria are the rainbow. This trio is a well-oiled machine, working hard on your behalf, seeing ahead, keeping you informed and prepared. They somehow, I'm still blown away at how, managed to finalize my divorce in 4 months (from consult to final judgment...and I didn't file until 45 days after my consult!) It was a very stressful and emotional time in my life - I don't know how I would have managed it all without this team. I had so much to deal with personally, emotionally and logistically and could have easily been lost in the legality of it all. Fortunately, I had this amazing team. They managed this all so well for me - it was a huge burden that I didn’t have to carry alone. They made me feel like I was their only client.
