Ron is a careful, thorough, and highly persistent attorney. I was arrested, charged with violent offenses, and held on a $125k bond. I had never been in trouble with the law, but found myself locked up. Ron was recommended by a family member, and it was the best recommendation I've received! Sunday m...orning, bright and early, Ron was at the jail to meet with me to go over my case. He spent weeks trying to chase down all of the "evidence" the State claimed to have. Phone calls were not productive, and the prosecutor's office would not communicate via email. Ron literally had to chase down the prosecutor at their office, and in court, just to get them to review the merits of my case. The public defender failed to get my bond reduced, but Ron was able to get a second bite at the apple, and the bond was reduced to $50k. Once he had all of the "evidence", he discussed strategy with me. The ultimate decisions regarding my case were truly mine to make. We could have successfully defended the case, but Ron had another option to consider. For the second time, he took a second bite of the apple with a deferred prosecution counseling program. Although the time to apply for said option had elapsed, Ron was able to get the prosecutor's office, and the judge to consider it. I completed the counseling, and the charges were formally dismissed. Had it not been for Ron's persistence, I could have spent a lot more time in jail, and the outcome could have been markedly different. When your freedom and your future hang in the balance, there is no one I would trust more than Ron Frey!
