Robert Kenneth Tucker II

Going back to his defense roots in 2015, Rob joined the Tampa, Florida office of Hinshaw & Culbertson, LLP, a national law firm with approximately 500 lawyers. Hinshaw offers a full-service practice, with an emphasis in litigation, corporate and business law, environmental, labor and employment law, professional liability defense, and wealth preservation and taxation matters. Rob focuses his practice in the defense of claims of personal injury and property damage, including: automobile negligence, trucking accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.

Rob began his career in South Florida at a small boutique defense litigation firm in Miami, Florida and a prestigious Florida law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His prior experience includes the defense of commercial litigation, automobile negligence, medical malpractice, dental malpractice and personal injury claims. Rob has also handled complex business litigation for banks, financial institutions and corporations and is experienced in litigating matters involving lender liability, creditor’s rights, breach of contract, the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Prior to joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Rob moved his family to Tampa, Florida to become the statewide managing attorney for the personal injury department in a Tampa, Florida based plaintiff's trial and class action law firm.

His experience in personal injury law is substantial on both the defense and plaintiff sides, giving Rob a unique perspective on cases, which is an asset he brings to the defense of his clients in both state and federal courts.

Rob, a native Floridian, was born and raised in Miami. He obtained both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida.
