Robert Denson Sparks

Robert Sparks obtained the largest jury verdict in a pedestrian injury case in Hillsborough County history – an award of $30 million for his client who suffered permanent and debilitating brain damage after she was hit by a vehicle while walking on the side of the road. The case began with an opening offer of merely $3,500 by the plaintiff, and progressed into the complex investigation of a hit and run incident that was never pursued by the police department. Mr. Sparks’ litigation included acquiring GPS data from the vehicle involved to prove the driver’s fault and disregard for liability at the scene of the incident, and the search for the vehicle’s driver who had moved out of state, in order to obtain witness testimony to fact that the liable company had covered up any involvement in the incident.
