Austin Taylor Powell

Austin T. Powell, Esq., is the Founding Attorney of Powell Trial Firm, PLLC. He defends insurance carriers, self-insured companies, and their insureds in civil litigation throughout Florida. His practice focuses on premises liability, negligent security, motor vehicle accidents, transportation and trucking, products liability, and construction site incidents, which lead to catastrophic injuries or death.

He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida (2017). He obtained his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law graduating with a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy (2021). While in law school, Austin served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Rex Barbas in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County. He also worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the Office of the State Attorney in the 6th Circuit in Pinellas County. He in Admitted in Florida (2021). He is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Middle (2022) and Southern (2022) Districts of Florida.

Mr. Powell is an active member in the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, Florida Bar Young Lawyers and Trial Lawyers Sections, DRI Association of Lawyers Defending Businesses, Clearwater Bar Association, Hillsborough County Bar Association, and Tampa Bay Inns of Court.
