Biography
Jim Purdy received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1992. He was admitted to practice law in Minnesota in 1992. Shortly thereafter, he joined the Judge Advocate General's department in the United States Air Force.
In 1998, Jim left the Air Force, was admitted to practice in Florida, and entered private practice. He worked for a large Plaintiff's law firm for several years before opening The Purdy Law Firm, P.A. in 2005.
Mr. Purdy is AV rated by Marindale-Hubbel. This rating means he has been acknowledged by his peers as upholding the highest standards for professional knowledge and ethics.
Mr. Purdy has extensive teaching experience. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at National College in Rapid City, SD; Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL; and Edutech Centers in Brandon, FL. Mr. Purdy has taught courses in Business Law, Communications, Ethics, Civil Procedure, and Torts.

Not worth the money
He was hired by my family to go over moms will. I was not pleased with his demeanor and his professionalism is lacking and cocky. Do not and would not recommend. To much money for what service was provided. We went with other attorney and had a GREAT experience.
