Gary Charles De Pury

OK so I got pulled over for a crappy reason but the cop had me. What I didn't know was that he was gonna search my car. He found some oil in the car and arrested me. I didn't think it was a big deal until I found out it was a freaking felony. Good-bye good jobs! Anyway, I kinda knew Mr. De ...Pury from my brothers business and I called him thinking that he would get me a plea deal because that is all any attorney ever does. He made an appointment with me at 7pm. I went and after about 20 minutes he told me to go home and not worry anymore. Fast forward about three months and I find myself scared to death. No plea deal. We were going to trial. Gary filed a some papers for the judge to decide on before the trial and next thing I know, I'm done. I'm a free man. I don't understand all the rules but he basically said that my case is the same as some dude in Arizona and because of that the supreme court said that they can't search my car. I don't know the law but I do know this.....if you don't call Gary, you are smoking better weed than I used to.

Long story short the officer tried to pin a bogus speeding ticket on me . I stumbled upon off the record just a week before my court date and they recommend Mr De Pury. He immediately noticed an error on the ticket and asked was urine collected at the time the ticket was given . Of course it wasn’t .... He assured that because of the mistake alone , it would be dismissed . The court date was continued by the officer when prolonged the process and caused me more anxiety but once the next scheduled hearing had been completed I got the message the next day that my ticket was dismissed. Definitely the highlight of my day , Considering I had a clean record and couldn’t afford any points or my insurance rate to increase. I definitely didn’t mind paying the $135 for the ticket to be dismissed compared to the other route taken .

The entire reason you hire an attorney is to provide council during a legal proceeding. I have hired attorneys that seemed more interested in filing paperwork and not actually researching or understanding case law.
