Gary Charles De Pury

Mr. De Pury is the best lawyer I've ever had the pleasure to work with. All manner of things can go wrong when you retain the wrong lawyer. I got my real estate license in college and sold property for decades. I've worked with lawyers in hundreds of real estate transactions. Law firms are notoriousl...y bad about returning calls. Mr. De Pury and Helena are absolutely incredible about returning calls and email. I have never seen a more responsive law firm. Nearly all of the lawyers I've worked with are curt and you feel like you're being timed by the minute. Mr. De Pury was shockingly human, kind, friendly, and the consummate professional when I had my first conversation with him. He is the most personable lawyer I've ever talked to. Helena is also wonderful. Helena could not be more kind, patient, or helpful. Helena almost always picks up calls immediately and returns email before your web browser updates. Mr. De Pury was completely transparent during the first call and explained exactly what I could expect and the likely outcome. Everything turned out just as I'd hoped and prayed for. You will be blessed if you are lucky enough to work with Mr. De Pury and Helena. I cannot express this strongly enough. Terrible things can happen if you chose an uncaring, inexperienced, timid, or disorganized lawyer. I had a family member nearly killed in an horrifying incident. It was traumatizing. I helped every step of the way. I continually checked in with the lawyer and it would take a week or more to get a return call. He completely dropped the ball every step of the way. The lawyer waited until 2 weeks before the statute of limitations expired and mailed a box of evidence back to my loved one. I had a family member pass away unexpectedly and the HOA filed papers to take possession of their home and belongings. The lawyer I consulted with told me precisely how to get the property back. He was a very experienced lawyer and I was assigned to a lawyer with 10 years of experience. I kept asking the lawyer to do the simple thing the partner said needed to be done to immediately get the property back by asking the probate judge to "court order" return of the property. The lawyer I was assigned to never did that. I paid the lawyer for a year. The HOA changed lawyers 3 times as my lawyer negotiated. My lawyer was the ball of string and the other lawyers were ally cats. Last example of an awful law firm: I had a horrific and traumatizing thing happen to me. I worked with a law firm over the course of a decade. The owner of the firm kept reassigning me to new lawyers right out of college. The other side buried us in motions, didn't respond to discovery for months and when they did the answer was that the other party had no records and no knowledge. The judge granted the other side a stay (case halted / paused) due to a 6-year-old in the hospital with a brain injury. A little research revealed that all of the lawyer's kids were over 18 and the youngest was in college actively posting on social media. A search of PACER showed the stay was requested because the firm was buried in a dozen cases they were litigating. My team did nothing about it. 3 trials were scheduled. 2 trials were delayed. All of our exhibits and a dozen signed and notarized affidavits from witnesses were in hand. We were 1 week from the 3rd trial. The other side discovered the owner of my firm had been sanctioned for not immediately talking to witnesses at the beginning of litigation and before the complaint was filed. He had more than a dozen signed and notarized witness affidavits prior the complaint being filed, but he had no discussion with the witnesses. The other side blackmailed my lawyer into withdrawing days before trial with a threat to make a complaint to the BAR. The owner called hysterical saying he could be sanctioned a million dollars and lose his license and filed a motion to withdraw.

I hired this lawyer through a 3rd party app and he stopped communicating and responding to me and the app support team immediately after. 6 months later he finally answers me and the off the record team telling them he took care of 1 ticket when I listed 3 and was charged for 3. I had to take care of... the other 2 on my own… Here come the crazy part, months later Gary reaches out to me I’m guessing because he’s angry that I left a him an honest review on google to warn people to stay away from him. Gary contacts me and threatens to blackmail me by sending information to my family about our conversations (NAMES AND CONTACT INFO OF MY FAMILY WERE NEVER GIVEN). So this lawyer not only didn’t do his job. But he also threatened to blackmail me by contacting my family members who have literally nothing to do with this. Please stay away from this guy he needs to have his license revoked for this kind of behavior.

Gary took my case through off the record and didn’t file didn’t communicate didn’t do a thing, I had to call the clerk of courts a week before the ticket was due and they still had no record of him contacting in for a court hearing nothing. I reached out multiple times and finally had to contact off ...the record and ask for a refund because of this clown. You’re better off not using any of those services and just look a traffic lawyer up that way and go from there. Or fight it yourself in court. If you use Gary he’s just not going to show up or do anything.

I am over the moon with Mr. De Pury's service. I never thought in a million years that I would get a dismissal of my ticket. My entire experience with him was fantastic from start to finish. He kept me informed, sent me a notification every time something happened, and he was very approachable. I...f I ever need anything like this again I will use him again in a heartbeat.
