Curt L. Allen is a Partner at Butler Pappas. Curt is active in the field of insurance coverage and extra-contractual matters. He received his Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from Valdosta State University in 1990 and his Juris Doctorate from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in 1994.
Prior to joining the firm, Curt served the citizens of this State as an Assistant State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit for over eleven years. He rose to the level of Felony Division Chief and was assigned to the Homicide Division, the Narcotics Division, the Major Crimes Division and General Felony Divisions. During that time period, he tried 282 felony jury trials and successfully handled a multitude of high profile cases. Curt prosecuted nearly every crime in existence ranging from First Degree Murder Death Penalty cases to Racketeering cases based upon wiretap applications.
Curt is a member of The Florida Bar, The Georgia Bar, and has been admitted in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
