This is my honest first-hand experience with Keeley Karatinos and how she handled my girlfriend's case in Pasco County from start to finish in a fight for our lives against the state of Florida. My girlfriend was wrongfully charged with driving under the influence causing great bodily injury, which i...s a very serious felony that carries a minimum mandatory 51 months in federal prison in this case. From the very first second, she was in the fight and winning. Keeley also has a rare ability to bring calm and confidence to an incredibly stressful situation, which was a crucial part of this process and made a significant impact on our everyday lives while we waited for the legal process to play out. From day one, we knew that she genuinely cares about her clients, and she made it a point to be compassionate and understanding of the situation. I'm going to be completely honest here, Keeley won this case before it even went to trial by the way that she conducted the depositions of everyone involved. She was BY FAR the smartest person in the room and dropped a series of 200 IQ moves during the depositions that you can't fully appreciate until later in the process. She is a master at asking the right questions to get the right answers, and laying an unshakable foundation in your defense long before the trial even begins. During jury selection, she knew exactly how to work the room, and within seconds of introducing herself, she had every potential juror on her side. She is naturally a very likable person and was definitely effective at explaining what they were required to do as jurors while also gathering critical information to win the chess game of the selection process. In her opening statement, she clearly laid out what the jurors were going to hear from the witnesses on the stand, and further solidified her position as the trusted professional in the room. Now, we come to the cross-examination of witnesses. When I say that it was a bloodbath, I mean it was nothing less than embarrassing for the state's case. Keeley impeached and discredited 3 out of the 4 state's witnesses on the stand, and she got the other to admit that he couldn't possibly have even been a witness to begin with. She won this case during the depositions, and it all unfolded in front of the jury like a master plan that was carefully designed from the beginning. The state tried to throw a curveball at the last minute to trip up the defense, and Keeley caught it, flipped it around on them, and used their own "evidence" against them to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that her client was innocent, even though we weren't required to prove anything at all. It was brutal. It was a savage slaughter in the courtroom. She caught them on so many things that the jury already had their minds made up before we even made it to closing arguments. To make a very long story short, after a 3 day trial, the jury came back with a unanimous NOT GUILTY verdict in less than 20 minutes, and they didn't even ask to see the video evidence a second time. Keeley was razor sharp, prepared, masterful in her courtroom performance, and the other side simply never had a chance. Her talented staff also played a key role in the process, and they are top-notch. When she walks into that courtroom, it's crystal clear that she is well-respected and admired by everyone. Keeley commands a level of respect amongst her peers that has to be seen to be understood, and there's an element of magic to what she is capable of that can't really be explained. We will hopefully never need her services again, but if we did, there would be absolutely ZERO question as to who we're going to call first. If you're reading this and trying to make a tough decision that will affect the rest of your life don't waste your time or gamble with your future. Calling Keeley to defend you will without a doubt be the best decision that you make during this entire process. She got us our lives back and we are thankful.

After going through a whirlwind of ideas after my first DUI a good friend recommended Mander Law Group represent me for my best chances of success and after a few phone calls I came to the same conclusion. The same day I made the phone call to the agency I was able to see Ms. Karatinos, despite her b...usy schedule, where we went over key components about my case and thoroughly explaining any injustices that took place the night of my arrest. I contacted Keely after a referral from a prominent Tampa attorney. From the get go she was amazing. I had already spoken to two other attorneys, one never returned my calls and the other sent me to Keely. Neither had told me I had just 10 days to fight the DMV on the suspension of my license. Kee...ly did the math and I was at day 10, at 2:30 pm and had only till 5pm to file the paperwork. She had an appointment in Hernando county, but she took the time to get the paperwork in order and I met her assistant to sign it. We got it in under the wire. Then she got me a temporary license so I could work. The DMV continued the hearing twice, but in each case Keely immediately got me an extension on the temporary license, once in minutes. She was as excited as I was when the DMV threw the suspension out. Mind you, this took three months because of the continuance, but I had a valid license that whole time and didn't have to stress about getting to work on top of everything else. On to the criminal case. What a whirlwind, this woman is on fire. She attended the first two court dates without me, saving me time and money. She kept in regular contact with me and updated me on where the case was and the possible outcomes, including a reduction in charges and a dismissal of the original charge. She advised me how to get my medical records together so she didn't have to charge me. She counseled me to take the DUI school as quickly as possible and I knocked it out before the two month mark. I also completed the DUI recommended substance abuse counseling by the three month mark. She met with me before court at the four month mark and we went to court and she won. Charge was reduced to reckless driving, the DUI and subsequent ticket were dismissed. Only four months and I feel like I can breathe again. Having been through this before and having the courts and the attorneys drag it out for a year or more while stressing about the outcome this is a huge relief. I have never had a lawyer so proactive and efficient. A huge "THANK YOU, KEELY" is not enough for not only the legal assistance, but the emotional and mental as well. I will highly recommend Keely Karatinos to anyone in the future.

Ms. Karatinos has provided and fantastic service so far and continues to provide that same service. I hired Ms. Karatinos after receiving a DUI and she first faught for me to receive a restricted license then took my case to court where she was able to negotiate my DUI down to a reckless driving ch...arge. Unfortunately this has been my third DUI charge and here in Florida it comes with a substantial penalty so by her being able to negotiate a plea deal and getting this reduced shows her professionalism and knowledge of the penal system and what she is willing to do for any and all clients. She is currently in the process of working with the DMV and the court system to expunge the DUI from my driving record.
