Biography
Luke grew up in the Midwest and attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale for his undergraduate degree. In 1993 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in administration of justice. He then completed coursework towards a master’s degree in business administration before attending Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
After graduating law school and receiving his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Mattson moved to Florida. He became a member of The Florida Bar in April of 1998 and began working as an associate attorney with a firm representing homeowner associations. Luke later relocated to Tampa and became a partner at McBath & Mattson, P.A. Eventually he established his own practice, Luke A. Mattson, P.A., before joining the Brandon Legal Group team in 2013. He also has been involved with the Stann W. Givens Family Law American Inn of Court of Tampa since 2004.
Mr. Mattson found his niche in family law and has focused his practice in that area since 2000. In particular, Luke often handles matters involving divorce, timesharing, parenting plans, child support, alimony, paternity, and civil domestic violence. He also drafts, enforces and defends matters involving both prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements. With his extensive experience, Luke handles matters through trial and post-judgment as well as enforcement and modification of final judgments.
A knowledgeable and skilled attorney, Luke has represented clients in Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando, Citrus, Polk, Manatee, Charlotte, and Glades counties.

You cannot go wrong with Attorney Luke Mattson!
