Michael Scott Del Sontro

Michael Del Sontro is an attorney at Senior Justice Law Firm, a narrowly focused boutique law firm, focusing on cases involving nursing home abuse, serious personal injury and wrongful death. The firm has recovered millions of dollars in jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients. Attorney Del Sontro leverages his extensive courtroom experience to pursue accountability against nursing homes and healthcare providers whose misconduct, negligence, or understaffing harms vulnerable residents.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Del Sontro served as an Assistant State Attorney in the White Collar Crime Unit for Florida’s 15th Judicial Circuit. There, he prosecuted hundreds of complex financial crime cases, including organized fraud schemes and money laundering operations. He also handled cases involving crimes against the elderly, including exploitation and abuse — experience that now directly strengthens his advocacy for nursing home residents and their families. Over the course of more than 50 jury trials, he secured numerous guilty verdicts that resulted in significant prison sentences, demonstrating both his trial skill and his ability to hold bad actors accountable.

Attorney Del Sontro earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida before continuing his legal education at the University of Miami School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in both Florida and Washington State.
