Before joining Senior Justice Law Firm, Mr. Del Sontro served as an Assistant State Attorney in the White Collar Crime Unit of the State Attorney’s Office for the 15th Judicial Circuit. In that role, he prosecuted hundreds of complex financial crime cases, including organized schemes to defraud and money laundering operations. He also handled cases involving crimes against the elderly, such as exploitation and abuse — experience that now directly informs his advocacy for nursing home residents and their families. Many of the guilty verdicts he secured in the more than 50 jury trials he tried resulted in significant prison sentences, reflecting both the seriousness of the offenses and his effectiveness in the courtroom.
