Joshua Richard Brownlee

Joshua Brownlee is a trial lawyer and partner of JT Law Firm. Mr. Brownlee has tried several jury trials in which he has obtained favorable verdicts in favor of his clients. Mr. Brownlee has represented hundreds of policy holders in both Commercial and Residential Property Insurance claims.

Mr. Brownlee is a Partner at JT Law Firm where he serves clients, protect their interests, and helps them recover from their insurance company. Throughout his career Mr. Brownlee has earned over $2.5 million in settlements for his clients.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Brownlee graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Safety Administration while also becoming a certified paralegal. Mr. Brownlee used his education and paralegal certification to gain over five (5) years of experience working as a paralegal for a prominent Florida criminal defense attorney, commercial litigation firm handling both Federal and State legal matters concerning various forms of working capital financing opportunities including factoring, forfaiting and asset-based lending, bankruptcy and first-party property insurance.

Mr. Brownlee continued working as a paralegal throughout law school where he attended night classes at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. Upon graduating law school, Mr. Brownlee worked for a South Florida Plaintiff’s First Party Property Insurance law firm and Vaccine Injury claims. Due to excelling in litigation and attention to detail he was quickly promoted to the head litigation attorney overseeing an entire team of attorneys.

As a partner with JT Law Firm, Mr. Brownlee heads the First Party Property Insurance Litigation team representing his clients in depositions, hearings, mediations and other court proceedings.
