Mr. Burns was recommended to me by a friend and I retained him for several real estate matters. ( I discovered later that a few other people I know had also used Mr. Burns in their real estate transactions and for other issues and were very satisfied with him.) Mr. Burns is forthright and fair in hi...s billing. He has an excellent reputation in the Jupiter-Tequesta-Stuart area. I made the mistake of going with a larger law firm on one real estate matter because the other party had a big name law firm out of West Palm Beach. I am still paying for that mistake. I wish that I had called Attorney Charlie Burns first. The outcome may have been the same, however, Mr. Burns would never have charged the outrageous sums that the large "supposedly respectable" local Stuart law firm charged. I consider Attorney Burns the best kept secret on the Treasure Coast. He may also be THE ONLY ETHICAL ATTORNEY on the entire east coast of South Florida.

I hired Mr. Burns after a problem with another attorney that he said he would resolve he did not resolve it he said he didn't want to cause a conflict with the other attorney because he knew him he stopped returning my calls he moved his office I left messages I called every week Many times and stil...l never heard anything be careful he's a very nice man and did come highly recommended but he lies

I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had with Mr.Burns. The office lacks leadership, performed extremely poor meeting deadlines, and overall one has to beg for a returned phone call. They mishandled an RE closing for me, it's been months since the deed was signed over, and to this day i...t has not been filed with the PB Clerk. I called and asked why, they had to check...I have yet to get a call back. I am assuming they lost the paperwork. They are also working on another legal doc. that I have given up on. I was suppose to see a first draft over a month ago and nothing yet! Thankfully, I am not paying for the service because a third party in the RE transaction is responsible for payment.

Hello Charlie has been the worst lawyer we have ever had! Never returns my calls! Makes countless mistakes! Over charges! Drags his feet 4 years and still running! Never returns emails!
