Even when I who was emotionally abused by my husband and wanted to give in, she would be firm and tell me the law and wht my rights were so I wasn’t giving in to him again. ...She knew when to be a lawyer and when to be a friend. She was very honest and always told me like it was, whether I wanted to hear it or not, she told me the truth. Most attorneys are out for your money, yes she needs to be paid, but she was very attentive to my needs. My situation was tough because my ex was very unreasonable in our divorce efforts which made my case drag on. She would push and push to get my case resolved. Everything was perfect until i ran out of money. This was after i paid her 15,000. All she wanted to do then was get my father involved so he would write her a check.
