⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Immigration Attorney — Nicole Skellenger

We are incredibly grateful to Nicole Skellenger for the exceptional work she did on our immigration case. Our case involved an I-600 petition that had been returned after the consular process, followed by an Intent to Deny (ITD) from USCIS. At that point, the situation felt incredibly challenging,... particularly because of questions surrounding the child’s eligibility under the orphan definition. We knew that the response to USCIS had to be thorough, legally sound, and supported by the facts. Nicole handled the case with an extraordinary level of knowledge, professionalism, attention to detail, persistence, and compassion. She carefully analyzed the issues raised by USCIS and prepared a thorough and compelling response to the Intent to Deny. She understood the importance of the evidence and the legal issues involved and advocated for our case with tremendous dedication. In about thirty (30) days after Nicole submitted the reply to the ITD, we received the news we had been praying and hoping for: USCIS approved our I-600 petition. That approval was especially meaningful because it came after an Intent to Deny and after our case had previously been returned from the consular process. Nicole did not give up on our case when the circumstances seemed difficult. Her expertise and persistence made an enormous difference. What impressed us most was that Nicole did not treat our case as just another file. She understood what was at stake for our family and approached the matter with both professional excellence and genuine compassion. If you are looking for an immigration attorney who will take the time to understand your case, carefully address difficult legal issues, and advocate strongly on your behalf, is knowledgeable, thorough, persistent, compassionate, and genuinely committed to achieving the best possible outcome for their clients, I highly recommend Nicole. Thank you, Nicole, for your exceptional representation, dedication, and perseverance. You helped turn a difficult situation into a successful outcome. We will always be grateful. Five stars are simply not enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
