Lara Suzanne Shiner

Lara S. Shiner has been an associate at Shiner Law Group, P.A., from its inception. Born in south Florida, Ms. Shiner has also lived and traveled throughout the United States, eventually returning to Florida where she is proud to call home.

Ms. Shiner obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in just over three years. During her attendance at UCF, Ms. Shiner was consistently placed on the Dean’s List for earning exceptional grades and ultimately graduated with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science and majoring in both criminal justice and legal studies.

Shortly thereafter, Ms. Shiner attended the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University where she continued to excel academically. While in attendance, Ms. Shiner was honored to accept a position as a research assistant to her law professor and mentor after earning high grades in her legal research class; Ms. Shiner also held a position at a law firm during her summer months. Ms. Shiner’s dedication earned her a merit scholarship for her high G.P.A. as well as numerous Book Awards for receiving the highest grade in her classes. In 2010, Ms. Shiner graduated law school magna cum laude.

Ms. Shiner is a member of the Florida Bar and the Washington, D.C. Bar; Ms. Shiner is also licensed to practice in federal court. Currently, Ms. Shiner’s practice areas focuses on business/commercial litigation and civil litigation.

When she is not working, Ms. Shiner enjoys spending time with her family and dogs; her favorite “hobby” consists of traveling as Ms. Shiner enjoys experiencing and learning about different cultures around the world.
