Heather Lynn Apicella

Heather L. Apicella, Esq., is the Principal of Apicella Law Group, P.A., and she is also Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Marital and Family Law. Ms. Apicella is a Past Chair of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar and a Past Chair of the Family Law Section of the Broward County Bar Association, concentrating her Practice in the area of Marital and Family Law.

Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Apicella was honored to become an Associate of Patterson & Maloney, where she worked for several years until Hugh Maloney's passing. Immediately thereafter, she joined Gladstone & Weissman, P.A. with whom she worked for 11 years and subsequently made Partner.

Ms. Apicella was the Chair of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar from 2021-2022, she was elected to the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar in 2018 and she served as the Secretary from 2018-2019; Treasurer from 2019-2020; the Chair-Elect from 2020-2021; and after serving as Chair, she became the Immediate Past Chair from 2022-2023. She also served on the Executive Council from 2009 until her appointment on the Executive Committee.

Ms. Apicella served as the Past Chair of the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee, Past Chair of the Support Issues Committee and Past Chair of the Legislation Committee. She is the Past Chair of the Finance Committee and past Chair of the Long-Range Planning Committee. She also served as one of four members of the Marital & Family Law Review Course Committee, which is an appointed position that she Chaired in 2019-2020.
